Well, Lindsey I think some of these people are uninteresting because they don't respond to my messages or try to have a good conversation! So whatever...it's rude to not respond.

How would you know if they're interesting or not based on the fact that they don't respond to your messages. They could simply be away from their keyboard at the moment you message. I know I'm logged in at times but I fall asleep because I stay logged into AIM on my phone.
Seems to me you're just not interested in getting to know people and are basing your opinion on one simple incident. I find that more "rude" than not responding.
