Bascially, think of this as us covering our asses. If this stuff is leaked via AIM, there's not much we can do. But by at least preventing it from being posted in here, we are doing our part. That way, if someone's game is fucked due to leaked info, they can't come pointing fingers at us for any info that we allowed to be posted here.
Whatever is talked about on AIM or PM is beyond our control, but this forum is within our control. If that makes sense.  |

Exactly what he said.
If a player wants to share information with people outside of the game - thats their choice. And there is no way we can control leaked information getting back to other players effecting the game on AIM. But we CAN control what goes on in this site and what has been said. So we are going to do everything in our power to protect each player's game and their own privacy that they expect and deserve. |

So in other words, yeah the players can talk to whomever they wish about the game. But if it's posted here in part of the board that they can't see, you are worried that this "leaked info" will get back to them.
Soooo, you don't trust us?

I don't like when people answer a question with a question. No, I don't know the answer... So why can't you just straight up answer mine?
Personally, I don't talk to the players in the game so I don't know any insider info, therefore I cannot "leak" anything. So again, I'll ask... it's because you don't trust us right?
