Is it really that gender specific? That would leave 8 guys and 6 girls. Wouldn't they cut 3 guys and 1 girl if they wanted it to be equal?

That looks a little scary for me haha If they wanted it to be equal, then yes.  However, keep in mind that season 1 had 16 houseguests, and only 6 of them were "males". So the hosting staff may not make things equal gender-wise. |
