Some of you may have noticed my absence this past week. But I assure you it was out of my control. I am not going to go into full details about my week but I feel like I owe you all an explanation of why I haven't been here. I haven't had a chance to get on AIM and speak with Penn about this yet either. (Penn hunny, if your reading this we need to chat soon! ♥ )

Anyways.... Last Friday night I was riding home with a friend. She was driving. I was the passenger.

We went through a intersection with a green light. While we were crossing the intersection, a drunk driver with a truck (we were in a small car) rammed into us. The truck hit the driver's side going about 50 MPH. Apparently he blacked out and fell a sleep with his foot on the gas.

Stupidly, I wasn't wearing a seat belt. I guess I hit my head pretty hard during impact because I do not remember the crash at all. I woke up in the hospital the next day. I am fine right now. I received bruising in my ribs and I had to get a few stitches in the back of my head.

My friend however, was not that lucky. Even though she was wearing her seatbelt, the truck hit her side and she hit her head pretty hard. She is still in the hospital in a coma. Things are looking up for her as of this moment, but your prayers are appreciated.

The drunk driver is fine. Nothing happened to him. Apparently when he woke up in jail the next day, he thought he got arrested from getting a DUI. He wasn't even aware that he was in an accident.

But I hope to finish this game with you all. I was glad to see that Penn has been keeping this game going strong even with my sudden absence. I am very proud of the final five for working so hard. You guys are amazing. You all truly deserve to be where you are.
