.Try to Break Me|:.
Note: This is a 2-part challenge, but both parts are due by 9 pm EST Wednesday. The quicker you do the first part, the more time you'll have in deciding your actions for the second part.
Throughout the backyard there are 25 vases numbered 1-25. Each of you have your name in one of the vases, meaning that 13 of them contain names. 1 vase contains a prize. 11 of them are empty.
For this challenge, you will first begin by asking 2 questions which can be answered with a "Yes" or "No" by one of the Housecalls or Co-Hosts. The questions are meant to help you figure out which vases your opponents names are in, as well as which vase contains the prize. These questions can be inquiries such as (but not limited to) the following:
"Is Penn's name in vase 1?"
"Do vases 2-5 contain any of Blake's names?"
"Is the empty vase an even numbered vase?"
However, the A-Listers get to ask 3 questions. This is their PoV advantage.
As long as the question can be answered with a difinitive "Yes" or "No" response, then it's a legit question. We might ask you to change your questions if they cannot be answered with a "Yes" or "No" and if that's the case, you might risk having your questions answered at all if you cannot ask straight-forward questions from the start. Remember, you are asking 2 (or 3 if you are an A-Lister) of these questions, and you must ask them all at once.
These 2 or 3 questions MUST be asked in your DR, and then one of us will respond with the answers as soon as we can. Try to find us on AIM when you post your questions to let us know you've asked them. We will try our best to be active in answering your questions. However, the more time you give us, the better. If you wait until the last minute to ask them, that will be less time that you have to work on the 2nd part of this challenge described below.
Then, the next part of the challenge requires you to make a "break order list" in which you'll tell us what order you want to smash the vases. We'll then start at the top of the A-List and work our way down through the D-List, allowing you all turns to determine the order that the vases are broken. Include ALL 25 vases on your list.
Once a player's vases has been broken, that player is out of the running for PoV. At that point, they can still break vases on their turn, however, and they could still win the prize if they break the correct vase.
Finally, if you are the lucky person to break prize vase, your prize is a secret which will be given to you in your DR.
If you have any questions about this challenge, please post them here. We will be posting your vase number in your DR so you know which vase your name is in. If you want to tell others, that's your call.
Failure to complete any part of this will result in a strike. Your break list order is due by 9 pm EST Wednesday.
