.High Stakes|:.
This HoH is doubling as an Eviction Challenge which will make this round a DOUBLE EVICTION round, and here's how it will work.
First up, ALL of you will be competing. The seven of you remaining will be fighting in this challenge to show that you truly want to be in this game. Adam, that means that even though you cannot win the title of HoH as outgoing HoH, you will STILL be doing the competition to get a score.
After the seven of you compete, the 2 with the lowest scores will AUTOMATICALLY be placed in the nomination chairs and an instant vote will take place. For this portion of the round (the first eviction portion) NO POWERS or EXTRA VOTES may be used. It's simply the 2 lowest scores placed on the block, and then the other 5 hosueguests casting a vote to evict one of those two.
Then, after that eviction has taken place, the person who scored the highest on the challenge (aside from Adam) will become the HoH for Round 7 and we will continue with a normal schedule in which there are 2 nominees, a PoV challenge, PoV ceremony, and finally a 2nd eviction vote. During this portion of the round, powers MAY BE USED, including extra votes or any other special awards/prizes/powers won.
Now, let's see what the challenge includes...
Below you will see eight different tasks complete with descriptions and even a sponsor which has kindly donated to make this challenge possible. Your job is for each houseguest to attempt 3 (no more or no less) of the tasks on the list. You may choose ANY three.
Task 1
They Plump When You Cook Them
Sponsor: Ball Park Franks
Video yourself eating 5 hot dogs in 3 minutes or less. To complete this task successfully, you must video yourself with a continuous feed (no editing or cutting parts out) while you eat 5 hot dogs (you do NOT have to eat the bun with them, just the dog. Finish eating in less than 3 minutes (you may have WATER only to drink) to get credit. Then, when you are done, you must upload the video to a place like youtube, and post the link in your challenge thread in your DR. One final thing... to prove that it's you, give us a shout out for BB Starz 2!
Task 2
Starz Next Top Model
Sponsor: Tyra Banks
Go to Google, and search "America's Next Top Model Photo Shoots" and then pick one of your favorite photos from the ANTM show. At that point, it is your job to RECREATE that photo, using yourself as the model. To be successful, you must do your best to mimic the pose, the background/props, and the wardrobe (to the best of your ability). We are not looking for an identical match, but if we don't see that effort was put into making the photo as close as you could with the obvious challenge of not having identical props/backgrounds/clothes then you will not get credit. Also, do not choose a boring/bland photo which limits your ability to incorporate backgrounds/props or interesting clothing choices. Finally, include somewhere a sign that you're holding which says BB Starz 2 just for proof that it's actually you doing the photograph. When you're done, upload the photo to a photo sharing site like tinypic.com and post the link in your challenge thread in your DR.
Task 3
Change, Yes We Can!
Sponsor: Barack Obama
You wanna be the next president? Well, this task is quite simple if you have the support. Just get 3 of the other remaining houseguests to show their support by sending me (Penn) a PM which states, "I support PLAYER in his/her election race." Obviously, the person they're supporting will be included where I wrote the word PLAYER. So, for instance, if I were trying to complete this task, I would ask Orlando, Lucy, and RuPaul to each PM me the phrase, "I suppport Penn in his election race." Here's the catch: If you do not get exactly 3 people to send their support, this task is considered failed. That means if MORE than 3 or LESS than 3 people send their support to me via PM, then you do not get credit. Players CAN support more than one candidate.
Task 4
Write Out Loud
Sponsor: Sharpie
Sharpie wants to see how bold you are. Take a Sharpie marker and write across your forehead the word "STARZ" in nice, bold letters. Then, snap a picture and upload that picture to a photo sharing site like tinypic.com and post the link in your challenge thread in your DR. The photo must clearly show that you used permanent marker, as you should snap the picture as you're finishing up the Z in STARZ. Also, we want to see your whole face in the picture, and not just your forehead. Failure to follow any of this explanation will result in a failed task.
Task 5
Are You Gellin'?
Sponsor: Dr. Scholl's
Dr. Scholl's believes that good balance is essential to good posture and essentially a healthy body. Take a video of you standing on ONE FOOT for 2 minutes straight. While standing on one foot, give a shout out to BB Starz admin team, including Blake, Orlando, RuPaul, Lucy, and myself. If at any point during the two minutes your foot touches the ground, or if you use any support around you to help yourself balance, you must start the video again. Be sure to include a full body shot so that we can see from your head to your toes. When you have made a successful video (with no editing in between which could jeopardize the 2 minutes straight), then upload the video to youtube and share the link in the challenge thread of your DR.
Task 6
Keeps Going and Going
Sponsor: Energizer
This is a mini-endurance challenge hosted by Energizer, which is pretty simple and nothing in comparison to what some of you endured for the earlier endurance challenge. For a period of three hours, you must post in your challenge thread every 5 minutes EXACTLY. As well, this must start on an exact hour, such as 1:00, 6:00, 10:00. etc. Then, every 5 minute interval during that 3 hour period, you must make a post which somehow alludes to Energizer and the fact that you're still going, and going, and going....... If you mess up, you MAY start again with a new 3 hours. However, you must be FINISHED by the end of the challenge deadline. Thus, you need to at least start 3 hours before the challenge ends, or else you won't make it in time. You MAY delete posts but not edit them.
Task 7
Easy as One, Two, Three
Sponsor: Texas Instruments
Complete the following long division problem BY HAND, and then snap a picture of your completed work and upload the link to a site like tinypic.com before posting it in your DR for us to see the finished work. Your answer must be exactly correct, and you must include the written words "Big Brother Starz" somewhere on your paper. Failure to do the problem in its entirety by showing ALL your work will result in a lack of completion. Here is your problem: 64773882934325 divided by 23.
Task 8
Imma Be Lazy
Sponsor: Sleepys
This is the easiest of all the tasks, but there is a risk to doing it, which you'll understand when the scoring rules are explained. However, for this task, all you have to do is announce that you've chosen to do it, and then state that, "Imma be lazy." in your DR. Simple as that!
Now that you've seen the tasks, just a few more rules about scoring and how this will work. First up, you MUST state which three tasks you are completing in your DR. Then, include any appropriate video or picture links with them if needed. You CAN change what tasks your doing as the challenge progresses, but in the end, you must be clear in which three you have decided will be the ones you are doing.
For the scoring, it's a simple concept. The more people who complete a task successfully, the less points each person will get for that task. Thus, your objective is to try to figure out which tasks people are doing or are most likely to do, and then try to do the tasks that have the LEAST amount of people doing them to get the most points. Scores will be given as follows:
If 1 person SUCCESSFULLY completes a task = 25 points
If 2 people SUCCESSFULLY complete a task = 18 points each
If 3 people SUCCESSFULLY complete a task = 15 points each
If 4 people SUCCESSFULLY complete a task = 12 points each
If 5 people SUCCESSFULLY complete a task = 10 points each
If 6 people SUCCESSFULLY complete a task = 8 points each
If 7 people SUCCESSFULLY complete a task = 7 points each
Notice that the word SUCCESSFULLY was capitalized. That means that, even if 7 people attempt a task, but only 4 are successful, then those 4 would get 12 points each, rather than 7 points each. The number of people per task is only counted if those people are successful.
If you have any questions, please post them here. Because this is an important challenge and might require a little more time, you will have 3 days to complete it (NO EXTENSIONS!). Thus, you must have shown 3 task attempts in your DR, no later than 9 pm EST Sunday, February 13. At the same time, 72 hours is PLENTY of time to get this done, especially since some of the tasks are less time consuming.
Best of luck! And don't forget the high stakes that are involved with the outcome of this challenge!
