So, we have just narrowed it down to our final 18. One more cut before our official cast. I have a feeling we might get 1 or 2 people not do the app. But honestly, that's fine with me. We have a TON of very good potential cast members I think. I'm VERY excited for this group. They seem very active on the boards so far.

Assuming they all fill out the 2nd app, it might be hard to choose a group of 14. It honestly might be made based on getting a variety of personalities and not necessarily the 'best' 14 if we really can't rank them all from best to worst.

Some of my early favorites: Drew, Kate, & Mike. Favorites, meaning I like them and their activity level, not that I think they are a favorite to win. It's hard to tell that for now, but I like them as definite cast members just from what I've seen so far!

Alright... so before I began writing this blog I asked myself how I was feeling coming into this season hosting with Penn. Well, the answer was a lot of emotions. I am excited, nervous, overwhelmed, anxious, and above all over joyed. I am an ORG veteran for sure, but when it comes to hosting, I am rookie. Penn could have had chosen anybody co-host with him, and him choosing me to sit next to him is really an honor. So thanks Penn... for having faith in me. I suppose before you have faith in yourself, somebody has to give you a litte nudge. So thanks. ♥

I suppose before every season a host has to asked themselves this... "HOW IN THE HECK ARE WE GOING TO COME UP WITH TWISTS, COMPETITIONS AND A GREAT CAST?".

But fortunately for us, Penn and I have a creative chemistry between the two of us and we love and breathe reality TV and it's craftiness that comes with it. Everything seemed to have came together very easily right away and we even had too much material, that we had to save it for next season. Some ideas don't work out as you always hope but when they do, it's very rewarding and we will have no regrets trying to go above and beyond.

And now that we have our cast... all this fantasy is becoming reality right before my eyes. So far they are more than a host can ask for, hopefully they have many intriguing stories to share. I can't wait to see how this season unfolds.
